November Oceans of Gratitude

We are celebrating our patrons with OCEANS of GRATITUDE this November. Join us each Tuesday this month at 5 pm for a special program in the children's department as a "THANK YOU" for our community.

Wanna learn sign Language? Take this beginner class with our instructor Sam Graybill! This class will be 2 weeks long and occur on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:30-5:30pm. First day of class is March 4th at 4:30pm! Call to signup or come in to the library and signup in our binder!

We are cleaning out the library's storage areas and we want to let teachers have the first pick of our finds! Join us on Tuesday 8-13 and Wednesday 8-14 if you are an educator! Open to all Thursday 8-15 and Friday 8-16. We will have many items available for your selection. No prices, just donate what you can!

We are starting a TEEN ADVISORY GROUP here at the library for the upcoming school year. We are looking for teens in grades 6-12 who want to volunteer at the library. Do you love books? Do you love to plan events for your family and friends? Do you want to earn some volunteer hours while making friends and helping the community? Then look no further than TAG!

Join us at our open house to learn more about TAG, meet some people, and have some snacks!

Guiding Good Choices Parenting Classes

Join us at the library for a Children's Program during a Parenting Class by FYI (Family and Youth Initiatives) of New Carlisle!

Guiding Good Choices will cover topics like:

Importance of Family Meetings
Specific actions that promote healthy development
Strategies to build family connections
