***A new book club has been added! Try out something sweet with the romance book club "Sweet Reads"! January meeting will be Tuesday the 21st @4:30pm at the library in the meeting room. Join us for a comedic cute book and Cake Creations cookies!
Our Cozy Reads Book Club Drink Special for December is: Winnie's Fireside Cider. Enjoy spiced cider with toasted marshmallow, hot or iced.
BOOK CLUBS
We have book clubs that meet at or through the library. Please check out the following list and dates for these clubs. All books are available by picking up at the library and/or going to the Libby/Hoopla App.
- Gentle Reads/Inspirational: January 7th @6:30pm~ River to Redemption by Ann H Gabhart. Club meets 2nd Monday of the month.
- Historical Fiction: January 9th @2pm~ Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford. Club meets 2nd Thursday of the month.
- Cozy Reads Book Club: A Midnight at the Blackbird Café by Heather Webber~ January 9 & 16th @4:30pm. This club will be two groups, please sign up for only one night; sign up will be available at the front desk where you can pick up your book. This is a new club through the library that will meet at Penny Lane Art Gallery & Café; genres may vary but will stick to being a cozy, warm, and quick read.
- New! Sweet Reads Book Club: January 21st @4:30pm ~The Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morgenthaler. This will be the second meeting of the new romance book club at the library meeting room. There will be cookies from Cake Creations as well.
Mystery Book Club: January 28th @ 4pm ~And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Club meets 4th Tuesday of the month. Mystery Book Club will not be
We also have an embroidery club that meets the last Monday of the month @6pm. Beginners are welcome and FREE kits are available for those who wish to join. Feel free to bring you own needlepoint, cross-stitch, & embroidery projects. Refreshments will be available at the meeting. You can come when you want and stay as long as you want. The club meets in the adult section starting at 6pm. Upcoming dates:
