Summer Reading 2026
Summer Reading is back! Unearth A Story with the library this summer and dig up new & exciting adventures Make sure to check out the Library Facebook & Website to see all the fun programs that you can attend!
Adult Programs will be doing our Summer Reading Rewards Card again! Unearth A Story & get a punch at each program you attend. On your 10th punch, claim your reward from Tillie or Hannah. Valid for Adult Programs between June 1st -August 1st 2026. Reward will be a $5 voucher to Arrow Queen; one per patron. BINGO Cards & beanstack is back again, with the chance for a fun completion prize & fantastic grand prizes. Grand prize winners will be announced on August 4thThe Grand prize for the BINGO cards will be a 1 Year Family Membership to Cincinnati Museum Center! The Grand prize for beanstack will be a 24-inch LED Smart Google TV. When you complete either the BINGO or beanstack challenge, come and claim a fantastic completion prize!
BOOK CLUBS
We have book clubs that meet at or through the library. Please check out the following list and dates for these clubs. All books are available by picking up at the library and/or going to the Libby/Hoopla App.
- Gentle Reads/Inspirational: NO JUNE MEETING. July 13th @6:30pm ~ The One You're With by Lauren K. Denton. Club meets 2nd Monday of the month.
- Historical Fiction: June 11th @ 2pm at the Library~ The Surgeon's Daughter by Audrey Blake. Club meets 2nd Thursday of the month.
- Cozy Reads Book Club: June 11th & 18th @ 4:30pm~Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett. This club will be two groups, please sign up for only one night; sign up will be available at the front desk where you can pick up your book. This is a new club through the library that will meet at Penny Lane Art Gallery & Café; genres may vary but will stick to being a cozy, warm, and quick read.
- Sweet Reads Book Club: June 16th @ 4:30pm~In Your Dreams by Sarah Adams . This book club meets at Penny Lane Art Gallery & Café.
- Mystery Book Club: June 23 @ 4pm ~TBD. Club meets 4th Tuesday of the month.
We also have an embroidery club that meets the last Monday of the month @6pm. Beginners are welcome and FREE kits are available for those who wish to join. Feel free to bring you own needlepoint, cross-stitch, & embroidery projects. You can come when you want and stay as long as you want. The club meets in the adult section starting at 6pm.
Yarn Club Last Monday of the month 5:30-6:30pm:previously titled knitting club. Whether you crochet or knit, come to yarn club and craft with others. Beginners welcome! We’ve had lots of yarn donations here at the library for our yarn club; we are so grateful for it, and we want to share it with others! If you are needing some yarn and/or knitting needles, please stop by the meeting room for Yarn Club. We will also be discussing a project that we will be doing as a Yarn Club.
Bible Study Group
The Bible Study Group that meets the first Saturday of every month between 10am-12pm, they will be focusing on Lisa Harper's "A Jesus Shaped Life" book; each month will focus on a different study guide chapter.
