We have started a Knitting Club! Anyone is welcome to join the knitting club on Saturday April 12th from 3:30-5pm. You can come to just knit and hang out, learn to knit, and get new and super easy patterns.
BOOK CLUBS
We have book clubs that meet at or through the library. Please check out the following list and dates for these clubs. All books are available by picking up at the library and/or going to the Libby/Hoopla App.
- Gentle Reads/Inspirational: April14th @6:30pm~ Circle of Grace by Penelope J. Stokes . May 12th @6:30pm ~ White Picket Fences by Susan Meissner. Club meets 2nd Monday of the month.
- Historical Fiction: May 8th @2pm ~Storm Clouds Rolling In by Ginny Dye.. Club meets 2nd Thursday of the month. (May will meet at the Library).
- Cozy Reads Book Club: Murder She Knit by Peggy Ehrhart~ April 10th & 17th @4:30pm. May 8th & 15th @ 4:30pm~The Kamogawa Food Detectives by Hisashi Kashiwai. This club will be two groups, please sign up for only one night; sign up will be available at the front desk where you can pick up your book. This is a new club through the library that will meet at Penny Lane Art Gallery & Café; genres may vary but will stick to being a cozy, warm, and quick read.
- New! Sweet Reads Book Club: April15th @4:30pm Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer. This book club will be at Penny Lane Art Gallery & Café. May 20th @4:30pm TBD.
Mystery Book Club: April 22nd @ 4pm ~The Innocent by David Baldacci. Club meets 4th Tuesday of the month. May 27th @4pm~ TBD.
We also have an embroidery club that meets the last Monday of the month @6pm. Beginners are welcome and FREE kits are available for those who wish to join. Feel free to bring you own needlepoint, cross-stitch, & embroidery projects. Refreshments will be available at the meeting. You can come when you want and stay as long as you want. The club meets in the adult section starting at 6pm. Upcoming dates:
