The New Carlisle Public Library will close Monday, March 16 at 6:00 p.m. and remain closed through Monday, May 4, 2020.
While we recognize that the library is an essential service for many, we also acknowledge the unprecedented position we find ourselves in. Effective at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 16, the New Carlisle Library will be closed through Monday, May 4. Loan periods will be extended and our book returns will be locked, so please hold onto your materials until we reopen. Periodic updates will be posted on our website and social media platforms as information becomes available.
We apologize for the short notice of this closure, but encourage you take advantage of the many online resources found on our website: Libby, Hoopla, and www.newcarlislelibrary.org. During this closure, some staff will be working remotely and may be available to answer voicemail and email questions. However, please be patient while waiting for a response. Everyone please stay in and stay healthy!
