We have two opportunities for you to catch the Didgeridoo Down Under Show this THURSDAY, June 23 -- at Smith Park at 4:00 p.m. (barring rain or a heat advisory) or at the New Carlisle Public Library at 7:00 p.m. If you're doing the kids/teen program on Beanstack, ask for your secret code word at the 4:00 p.m. performance. If you're doing the adult reading program, ask for your stamp at the 7:00 p.m. show.
The DDU Show is an energetic fusion of Australian music, culture, puppetry, comedy, character building, storytelling and audience movement and participation. The didgeridoo has been played by Aboriginal Australians for at least 1,500 years, and is known for its otherworldly sound. DDU is much more than music. It's interactive, educational, motivational and super fun! Perfect for families, and kids ages 3 and up.
