Adopt a Shell-ter Pet at the New Carlisle Public Library!

Pets will be available from Noon-6:00 p.m. today, July 13, or until every pet goes to a good home that will read stories to them!

● Pick out your new pet shell and give it a name. Introduce them to your family.

Drop-in between Noon-6:00 p.m.

Complete our Mermaid Scavenger Hunt and receive a small swag bag of mermaid items, while supplies last! We encourage caregivers of young children to team up with their kids and enjoy the hunt together.

Because of the small parts, and the patience required, these are best for ages 6-18. See the Children's Librarian or VolunTeen Mikayla S. if you'd like to see an instructional demo on the assembly process. We put half of our supply out now, and we will the rest out around 5:00 p.m. Happy crafting!

Smith Park Nature Walk

Smith Park, New Carlisle
Join us for a nature walk at Smith Park! Walk along the trail with us as we search for the creatures that fly, skitter, glide, and sometimes slither; bugs! Please dress for the weather and bring bug repellent and sunscreen if desired. This program is a collaboration between the New Carlisle Library and Clark County Park District. Please join us! Families are welcome. 

We will meet at the Smith Park Playground beside the Log Cabin Shelter House.

It's the first day of school for Tecumseh Local Students!
