Metal Detecting Basics
Ever wanted to find a treasure or discover lost artifacts? Learn how to metal-detect with a presentation by the Dayton Diggers. They are a non-profit organization that will teach you the basics of detecting, including how to select a detector, how to get permission to detect, and some of the exciting things you may find. Teen Summer Reading: Read to Rescue
Read for a purpose. Read for the animals. Read to rescue!
Our local animal rescue, His Hands Extended, lost their vet and they are struggling to stay open. Your librarian will donate $1 to His Hands Extended for every teen in 6th-12th grade who signs up for Read to the Rescue, with a $350 maximum contribution. Let's read this summer to help the animals!
