Did you know that the New Carlisle Public Library has a direct connection to the North Pole? Yes, from November 29 - December 10, kids can drop off letters to Santa into our magic mailbox, which you will find in the library's front windowsill.

Letters will be answered by ELVES from Tecumseh Middle School! Use the template below or your own format.

Please make sure a name is legible so that the elves can write you back. We will post back when you may pick your Elf Letter up at the New Carlisle Public Library.

The New Carlisle Public Library will close at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24, and remain closed during Thanksgiving Day. We will reopen on Friday, November 26 at 9:30 a.m. Our digital branches, Libby and Hoopla, remain open to serve you (24/7!) with audiobooks, Ebooks, magazines, music, and movies.

We will engage in music, movement and mindfulness in fun and engaging ways as children enjoy an introduction to yoga. Stories and hands- on materials are utilized in this class. This session will be 45 minutes long. Limited to 15 children.

Snow Babies Storytime

Young children and an actively participating caregiver, will enjoy stories, songs, dancing, shaky eggs, fingerplays, felt boards, musical instruments, and a simple take home art activity. This Storytime is designed for ages 0-3, but all ages are welcome, along with siblings, friends, and grands. We look forward to seeing you! If anyone in your party has a cold or does not feel well, please do not attend.

We will meet twice in December.
