Wildlife in Winter, Wednesday, January 5, 1:00 PM

Discover how animals prepare for winter around Ohio. Learn what animals migrate, the ones that hibernate and the ones that reside in the cold weather all season long. Program presented by Donna Lewis, Naturalist with the Clark County Park District, and is best for grade K-adult learners. Free, but please pre-register by emailing readingisimportant@gmail.com. Children's Library Grab & Go Crafts

It's a Magical Monday! We have galaxy slime, magic sand castles, mini gumball machines, and some lava sand. Please choose one item per child, so that many may enjoy. Grab & Go at the front circulation desk.

From the Teen Library: Just for Teens in Grades 5-12

𝑷𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕 & 𝑺𝒏𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑲𝒊𝒕𝒔

Each kit includes a wooden abstract art piece with a hanging cord, paint, a paintbrush, and a pack of Skittles. {Free, one per teen please.}

Terrific Tuesday Take & Make from the Children's Library

𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭

The kit did not include enough plastic needles and thread for each animal. We are putting thread and plastic needles beside the craft kits; please only take if you do not have thread and needles at home. Free, one per child so that many children may enjoy. Have fun!

Coloring Contest for Kids & Teens
January 1 - January 31
Stop by the New Carlisle Public Library and pick up a Coloring Contest entry. 
You'll find them at the front Circulation Desk and in the Children's Library.
Take it home and work on it at your leisure.  Turn in your completed entry at the front Circulation Desk.
Prizes!
